About New Life Cyber Academy
New Life Academy a Partnership of Life Center Community Development was founded in 2012 by Pastor Watson. New Life Cyber Resource Academy was started with 27 students and over the past year has serviced over 300 students. New Life offers a safe and secure learning environment for students in grades K-12.We service students in regular education and those in special education that need one on one support. The Academy is a homeschool Bricks and Clicks model where the class sizes are kept small to ensure that each child receives the individual support needed throughout the day. There is a program fee of $225 per month from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm. We also have a “FREE” afterschool program that last until 5:30 pm and “Free” transportation. New Life also offers a morning program from 7:00 am to 8:30 am for an additional fee. New Life has a caring staff that is made up of tutors, teachers many that have a degree in education . Our Coaches are an important part of our student’s success our well train coaches make sure that your child will get the most out of their educational experience. - Students arrive at 8 a.m.
- Each morning students write in their journals and have a opportunity to present to the group.
- Students begin working on their assignments and classes.
- Students break for a period of specialties which includes: music, art and carpentry
- We provide the students with lunch as well as transportation.
- High School students are dismissed at 2 p.m., Elementary and Middle School are dismissed at 3 p.m.
Life Center CDC exists to enhance the community in which we serve by providing and developing programs to assist in education, building strong family relationships, job training and preparation, financial management, housing counseling, mentoring/counseling youth, youth build programs, independent living and self-sufficiency as well as senior care. The center is designed to help in the betterment and rebuilding of families and neighborhoods. The goal of our partnership with Cyber schools is to provide a quality education to the students of Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
